We are in search of an enthusiastic hygienist to join our patient-focused team located in beautiful San Diego, CA. We are looking for someone who will fit well into our dynamic group. The ideal candidate is a caring, friendly, and professional General dentist who cares and treats our patients like family.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive restorative dentistry
• Invisalign
• Implant
• Perio
• Examine patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose and treat oral health issues
• Utilize X-rays and imaging technology to assist with exams
• Provide a wide range of dental treatments including cleanings, extractions, fillings, whitening, bonding, crowns, and veneers
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare
• Perform oral cancer screenings
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications when appropriate
• Ensure dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized
• Take impressions for customized mouthguards and dentures

Requirements:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
• Active state license to practice dentistry
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC regulations
• Computer/practice management software proficiency preferred
• 1-2 years of practice experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
