General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring the highest standards of patient assessment, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, ensuring understanding and comfort.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Experience with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
• Proven experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with patient care protocols for children is a plus.
• Ability to perform root canal therapy and other advanced dental procedures effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $140,292.94 - $168,954.94 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
