Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

  • HRSA loan repayment; employed position

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
  • Conduct various dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and endodontics, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Open Dental.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Educate patients on oral health care, treatment options, and preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
  • Experience with infection control practices in a dental office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner.

Pay: From $185,000.00 per year
