Position Overview

We’re seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to join our Latham team in late March 2026. You’ll deliver high-quality, comprehensive dental care—including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic treatments—to patients of all ages in a modern, supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine care (exams, fillings, extractions, root canals).
  • Lead treatment planning and present procedures professionally.
  • Place dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and provide orthodontic devices like Invisalign®.
  • Manage pediatric and family dentistry.
  • Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
  • Handle dental emergencies and same-day care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Pursue professional growth via continuing education.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active New York State dental license.
  • DEA certificate.
  • 2+ years of experience in general dentistry preferred.
  • Proficiency in restorative, preventive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
  • Comfortable offering Invisalign®, Six Month Smiles® preferred.
  • Strong patient communication skills and a compassionate approach.
  • Commitment to continuing education and use of modern dental tech.
