Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry practices, including patient care, dental procedures, and clinical management. As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical history, dental records, and utilizing medical imaging techniques to diagnose oral health issues accurately.
- Provide specialized treatments such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery when necessary, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for charting, scheduling, and managing patient records efficiently.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options while fostering a positive patient experience through excellent communication skills.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality of medical records.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver four-handed dentistry that enhances efficiency and patient comfort.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry techniques and materials to provide innovative care solutions tailored to individual patient needs.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment with a strong focus on general dentistry procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
- Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards essential for safe practice.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and the ability to work effectively with children is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy protections.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using medical imaging techniques while applying aseptic techniques during procedures.
