General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Dentist (1-3 days). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and more complex treatments as needed.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
• Perform a range of dental procedures including but not limited to oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Administer anesthetics and manage pain control during procedures.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Dentrix software.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional manner.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
