Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality general dentistry services, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans
• Perform dental procedures such as root canal therapy, dental fabrications, prosthodontics, and oral surgeries with precision and care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options to patients
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures
• Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry principles
• Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical records management for confidentiality and legal adherence
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on infection control and aseptic technique
• Knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry best practices to ensure clear communication and effective treatment planning
