Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct endodontic procedures such as root canal therapy with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Deliver general dentistry services including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, and prosthodontics as needed.
- Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately and plan appropriate interventions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry workflows.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster informed decision-making.
- Uphold high standards of infection control, sterilization procedures, and dental terminology to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment with a focus on general dentistry and endodontics..
- Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, medical terminology related to dentistry, and infection control practices.
- Hands-on experience performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other endodontic procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients about treatment plans while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.

- DDS/DMD degree
- Active California State Dental Board license
- Active Malpractice Insurance
- DEA, CPR and NPI are required
Pay: $105.00 - $180.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
