Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct endodontic procedures such as root canal therapy with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Deliver general dentistry services including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, and prosthodontics as needed.
• Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately and plan appropriate interventions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry workflows.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster informed decision-making.
• Uphold high standards of infection control, sterilization procedures, and dental terminology to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment with a focus on general dentistry and endodontics..
• Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, medical terminology related to dentistry, and infection control practices.
• Hands-on experience performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other endodontic procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients about treatment plans while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.

Your Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree
• Active California State Dental Board license
• Active Malpractice Insurance
• DEA, CPR and NPI are required

Pay: $105.00 - $180.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
