Position: General Duty Assistant (GDA)
Salary: Starting from ₹12,500/- per month (negotiable based on experience)

1. Job Summary

The General Duty Assistant (GDA) will assist nursing staff and healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care. The role includes supporting day-to-day patient activities, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring a safe and clean environment within the healthcare facility.

2. Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility).
• Help patients move safely (wheelchair, stretcher, bed shifting).
• Support nursing staff in monitoring vital signs (if trained).
• Provide basic comfort measures to patients.

Hygiene & Sanitation

• Maintain cleanliness of patient care areas.
• Handle biomedical waste as per protocol.
• Maintain proper hygiene while handling patients.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass
• Certification in GDA / Patient Care (preferred)
• Basic understanding of patient care responsibilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to handle patient movement

4. Experience

• 6 month–2 years’ experience in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare centers (Freshers with GDA certification may apply)

5. Work Schedule

• Rotational shifts (Morning/Evening/Night)
• 6-day working (depending on facility policy)
