General Duty Assistant (GDA)

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated General Duty Assistant (GDA) – ANM / GNM to provide basic nursing care and support to patients in hospitals, clinics, or home care settings. The candidate will assist doctors and nursing staff in delivering quality healthcare services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration).
• Assist nurses and doctors during medical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and equipment.
• Support in administering basic treatments as directed by senior nursing staff.
• Help in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Maintain patient records and report changes in patient condition.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) or GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) certification.
• Valid registration (if required as per local regulations).
• Basic knowledge of patient care and nursing procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital, clinic, or home healthcare setup.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response.
• Ability to handle elderly or critical care patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
