Job Summary

Al Marwan Group is seeking a highly experienced General Foreman with strong expertise in roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of hands-on experience, demonstrating complete project execution from initial site preparation to final handover. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to manage large-scale civil works in coordination with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and control all on-site construction activities for roads and infrastructure projects from start to completion stage.
• Plan, organize, and allocate daily site work activities to ensure efficient execution as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Interpret and execute construction drawings, method statements, and technical specifications accurately.
• Oversee the execution of earthworks, roadworks, roads, bridges, underpasses, tunnels, wet utilities, drainage systems, asphalt works, pipeline installations, and other related infrastructure activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.
• Monitor manpower productivity, equipment utilization, and material consumption on site.
• Identify site challenges, resolve technical issues, and implement practical field solutions.
• Enforce HSE standards and ensure safe working practices are strictly followed at all times.
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare progress updates and reports for management.
• Ensure proper coordination between multiple work fronts to avoid delays and rework.
• Mentor and guide supervisors, foremen, and labor teams for effective site execution.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in roads and infrastructure construction projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience in end-to-end project execution (from site mobilization to final handover).
• Strong technical knowledge of road construction, earthworks, utilities, drainage, and asphalt works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, IFC plans, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to handle large workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities on site.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and quality control standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding site conditions.
• UAE/GCC experience in infrastructure projects is mandatory.
