SUMMARY
Swanton Welding is currently accepting internal applications for a General Labor position in our Fabrication / Production Support Department Griffin, GA
This position plays an important role in sandblasting, finishing, painting prep, and assisting with production projects across the shop.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with sandblasting, surface prep, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help with painting and finishing operations, ensuring clean, uniform results.
• Operate tools and equipment including saws, grinders, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes (after training).
• Support welders and fabricators with material handling and setup.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas following 5S and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a shop environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Prior experience in fabrication, finishing, or industrial work preferred.

Offered compensation: $21/hr - $23/hr
