General Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attendance. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsible for completing assigned process per print, meeting schedule due dates. Work Centers include: Weld, Drill, Saw, Brake, Laser, Roller and Powder Coat

Includes the following responsibilities:

§ Inspecting in-coming parts/materials against prints prior to beginning production marking/segregating any non-conforming parts and notifying Materials Manager for disposition

§ Inspecting at least every 5 parts run at each station, maintaining 1/32" tolerance unless otherwise specified notifying Operations Specialist of all rejects

§ Setting up equipment/running equipment to ensure that parts are completed per schedule

§ Drilling, braking, sawing, welding, stamping, powder coat and rolling production processes

§ Verifying that product numbers are on each part / run of parts

§ Completing final inspection against prints prior to sending to next work process

§ Working with management on re-works and rejects as necessary

§ Ensuring that all Job Travelers are scanned and scrapped parts (and/or additional parts) are indicated with scan and reported to Materials Manager

§ Maintaining tools and equipment per PM process

§ Notifying Team Leader of supplies and tools needed in work area

§ Pushing orders through shop as directed by Work Queue

§ Maximizing material and supply usage

§ Notifying management of any circumstance that could result in failure to meet due dates

§ Keeping work area clean and organized per LEAN directives

§ Participating in all scheduled Safety meetings and following IOSHA guidelines daily

§ Completing QC visual inspection training, forklift operations training and LOTO training

§ Participating in all staff meetings as required

§ Other duties as assigned by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
