Why This Role?
This role is a great entry point into manufacturing operations with hands-on exposure to production, machine assets, and material handling. You will play a critical part in keeping the plant running efficiently while gaining skills that can lead to higher-level production and equipment roles over time.
Shift hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm M-F, occasional overtime on Saturdays as business requires
Your Impact
Support general production and manufacturing operations across the Nekoosa and Wisconsin Rapids facilities
Help maintain efficient material flow, waste management, and housekeeping that directly impact safety, quality, and uptime
Contribute to smooth machine and trimmer operations by ensuring waste, scrap, and materials are handled correctly and on time
What You’ll Be Doing
Execute daily waste and scrap operations, including collecting, sorting, and baling materials
Load and unload delivery trucks, organize materials, and process packing slips and billing paperwork
Support machine assets and trimmer production by removing broke, scrap, and empty pallets from production areas
Operate tow motors and clamp trucks to move materials safely and efficiently
Maintain housekeeping standards through regular cleanup of production and work areas
Follow documented procedures, safety rules, and best practices at all times
Participate in focused training to learn machine assets and develop toward higher-grade responsibilities
What You’ll Bring
Ability to perform all job duties safely, consistently, and successfully in a manufacturing environment
Experience or willingness to safely operate mobile equipment such as tow motors and clamp trucks
Physical ability to lift, push, and move product and scrap materials throughout the shift
Strong attention to safety, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Willingness to learn, cross-train, and grow within manufacturing operations
