General Laborer - Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Laborer - Installer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of installation and construction tasks across different projects, requiring hands-on experience with tools, materials, and building techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in dynamic environments. Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of building components such as cabinetry, doors, windows, and flooring.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform tasks related to concrete forming, finishing, masonry, and plastering as needed.
• Conduct demolition or removal of existing structures or materials in preparation for new installations.
• Support framing, roofing, stucco application, drywall hanging, caulking, and trim carpentry projects.
• Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting and shaping materials on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site work or related roles; familiarity with construction management or estimating is a plus.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with various trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, drywall installation, or flooring is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, or restoration work is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work effectively within a team environment.
• Prior experience with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is beneficial but not required. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
