General Labourer

The General Laborer will perform a variety of manual tasks to support daily operations, including loading/unloading, assisting skilled workers, maintaining work areas, and ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general duties such as cleaning, lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.
• Assist skilled workers (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons) as required.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site or facility.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Report any hazards, damages, or issues to supervisors immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a general laborer or in a similar role preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards.
• Flexibility to work in different environments (indoor/outdoor, various weather conditions).
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts if required.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor/indoor work environments depending on assignment.
• Exposure to dust, noise, or varying weather conditions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
