The General Ledger Supervisor at Nawy Real Estate is responsible for overseeing the general ledger activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role involves managing a team of accountants, performing complex accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct the general ledger accounting team, providing training, support, and performance evaluation

Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in the general ledger

Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately

Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations

Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement

Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies related to general ledger activities

Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Support finance leadership with special projects and reporting as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred

At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

Excellent leadership and team management skills
