Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Job Summary:
The General Maintenance Technician performs skilled troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and operational assets to support safe and efficient year‑round operations. This position plays a key role in preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and ongoing facility improvements. The Technician ensures all tasks meet OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards while supporting departmental sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities, systems, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Complete, document, and track preventive and corrective maintenance activities using CMMS and work order systems.
- Safely and correctly use tools, equipment, and materials appropriate to assigned tasks.
- Serve as a positive role model by promoting safe work practices, teamwork, and accountability.
- Mentor and support the development of entry‑level and seasonal maintenance staff through on‑the‑job training and coaching.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing activities while supporting year‑round operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate work and resolve issues.
- Work independently with minimal supervision; flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts as required.

Physical Requirements include:
- Advanced mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple building systems.
- Proven ability to independently perform maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and professional curiosity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
- Solid knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and support the professional growth of junior staff and seasonal employees.
