General Manager

Cairo, Egypt

An award-winning creative advertising agency, headquartered in the UAE, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our office in Cairo, Egypt .

We're looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record of operational excellence, day-to-day administrative mastery, and strong human resources acumen. Responsibilities:


As the General Manager, you will be instrumental in managing our Cairo operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Cairo office, aligning with the agency's global vision and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to company standards. Streamline processes and implement best practices across all departments.
  • Financial Management: Manage the office budget, forecast financial performance, and ensure sound financial health. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth. Oversee all HR functions, including performance management, employee relations, and talent retention.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expanded partnerships.
  • Compliance & Administration: Ensure full compliance with all local laws and regulations. Manage all administrative functions, including office facilities, vendor relationships, and legal matters.
  • Inter-Agency Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the Cairo office and the UAE headquarters, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on projects and strategies.


Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, day-to-day administration, and human resources, preferably within the advertising, media, or creative industries.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role , ideally managing a branch office or a significant business unit.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills .
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, drive profitability, and implement strategic initiatives .
  • Experience in talent acquisition, development, and performance management .
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
