Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and expand our freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and proven expertise in P&L management. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and operational know-how to ensure business growth, efficiency, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and key clients.
• Oversee imports, exports, documentation, customs clearance, and deliveries.
• Manage P&L, budgets, pricing strategies, and vendor negotiations.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff across operations, sales, and documentation.
• Monitor KPIs, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years of freight forwarding experience, including 4–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in P&L management and driving business growth.
• Strong industry network with carriers, agents, and key clients.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of trade lanes and regulatory requirements.
