General Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Augment the number of international students and faculty, by strengthening global partnerships and collaborations.
• Ensure effective communication between BITS Pilani and our global stakeholders across all campuses to align objectives and guarantee consistency.
• Coordinate and oversee international initiatives to ensure they align with the Institute's mission and goals, while optimizing resource utilization.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with foreign partnerships, ensure adherence to international norms and regulations, and safeguard the organization’s interests.
• Engage with international students and students in international programs in alignment with the University goals and objectives of internationalization.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the Dean from time-to-time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences / Engineering along with Master’s degree or higher and minimum 10 years of experience in international relations, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in managing international programs and collaborations within academic or organizational settings.
• Strong ability to navigate and ensure compliance with international norms, standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven expertise in cultivating and sustaining strategic partnerships across diverse cultural and geographical contexts.
• Demonstrated skills in risk assessment, resource optimization and fostering long-term, impactful collaborations.
