Role Overview

Nestcon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead and deliver high-quality construction projects. In this role, you will take full ownership of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout; ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Nestcon’s quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders while fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Objectives of the Role

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation through closeout, in alignment with Nestcon’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders while ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure cost efficiency and timely project delivery.
• Maintain strong working relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and adherence to specifications.
• Uphold Nestcon’s safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and local building codes.
• Promote sustainable construction practices and support green building initiatives where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate and oversee all construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved schedules, drawings, and specifications.
• Lead procurement processes, including bid evaluation, contractor and vendor selection, contract negotiations, and change order management.
• Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide accurate and timely status reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, safety, progress, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Ensure all project documentation—including contracts, permits, drawings, and approvals—is properly managed and maintained.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to address challenges, align teams, and drive collaborative problem-solving.
• Identify risks proactively and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize project disruptions.
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment aligned with Nestcon values.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Construction Management) or a related discipline from a reputed institution like NICMAR (Desirable.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in project management, with proven successfully handling and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations within the Indian construction landscape.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to train on-site staff to better their proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation systems.
• Awareness of sustainable construction practices and green building standards.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or equivalent.
• Experience managing large-scale or complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of risk management, contract administration, and claims management.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) & ERP tools.
• Knowledge of lean construction principles and modern project delivery methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting and cost control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tirumalgherry, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
