General Manager

Job Summary

Arabian Tide Shipping FZE is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee our end-to-end shipping and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, business development, operational excellence, and team leadership to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall business operations including Air, Sea & Land freight
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals
• Oversee sales, pricing, operations, and customer service
• Build strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, agents, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Trade, Customs, Free Zone & regulatory requirements
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and P&L
• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff
• Identify new market opportunities and expand client portfolio
• Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction
• Represent the company in negotiations and key business meetings

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Shipping & Logistics
• At least 3–5 years in a senior management / GM role
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding (Air, Sea, Land), customs & trade regulations
• Proven experience in business development and operations management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of UAE logistics market
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Arabic language is an advantage
• UAE experience is mandatory
