The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our operations in Doha. You will be responsible for overseeing all business functions—from financial performance and sales growth to team leadership and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader who can bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Operations: Oversee daily activities across all departments (Finance, Sales, HR, and Logistics) to ensure smooth business flow.
- Drive Strategy: Develop and execute business plans to expand our market presence in Qatar.
- Manage Finances: Take full ownership of the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
- Build Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, international partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Qatari labor laws and industry-standard Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years in leadership roles (GM or Director level), preferably within the trading, contracting, or BPO sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, expert negotiation skills, and a proven track record of managing multi-national teams.
- Communication: Fluent in English; ability to present complex data to a Board of Directors.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Qatar business landscape and regulatory environment.
