General Manager Accounts & Finance

Role Overview:

Barqtron Engineering Solutions is seeking a strategic and results-oriented General Manager Accounts & Finance, to lead the company’s financial operations. The role involves driving financial strategy, planning, reporting, cash flow, project financing, compliance, and internal controls. Supports senior management with financial insights, manages risks, oversees treasury, and ensures strong stakeholder and banking relationships.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Oversee accounting, taxation, audits, cash flow, and cost control.
• Manage financial statements and performance reporting.
• Handle project financing and funding arrangements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project costs and evaluate bids/contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and tax laws.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Oversee treasury and working capital management.

Role Requirements:

• Master’s in Finance or part qualified CA/ICMA.
• 8 -10 years Accounts & Finance experience with 3 years in leadership
• Strong expertise in reporting, budgeting, analysis, and treasury.
• Knowledge of regulations, tax laws, and project financing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
