General Manager – Business Support & Development

This role is responsible for enabling operational excellence, driving business growth initiatives, maximizing the value of national data, products, and services, and ensuring long-term sustainability aligned with national priorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape the Business Support & Development strategy and initiatives.
  • Drive institutional efficiency and operational sustainability.
  • Identify and evaluate new business, product, and service opportunities, assessing operational and economic feasibility.
  • Oversee major projects, performance reporting, and related data and analytics outputs.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and secure information flow to support executive decision-making.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 12–15 years of leadership experience in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Data & Analytics, or Institutional Enablement.
  • Experience in government entities or large-scale national initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, business models, and stakeholder management.
