General manager (Civil Engineer)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Manager (Projects) – Civil Engineering to lead high-rise construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, budgeting, and team management while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple high-rise projects from start to finish.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and design standards.
• Monitor costs, forecasts, and reports for senior management.
• Drive process improvements and use modern tools.
• Build strong client relationships and resolve issues.
• Mentor team members and support professional growth.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, HR, and legal teams.
• Control material management and wastage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in high-rise or large infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, budgeting, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with tools like MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
• Experience in project handover and client representation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
