Job Overview
OIC International (www.oicintl.com) is seeking a General Manager, Commercial to drive growth, scale sales, and strengthen our presence in the US trauma implant market (www.orthoimplantcompany.com). This role is best suited for a commercial leader with proven experience in trauma-focused implant sales and a background with industry-leading companies. Based in Reno, NV, relocation is required to fully integrate into our team and customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth: Drive top-line revenue with a strong focus on trauma product sales.
- Business Development: Expand market share through surgeon engagement, hospital partnerships, and new account acquisition.
- Commercial Strategy: Define and execute sales strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market initiatives aligned with company growth targets.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including surgeons, hospitals, and purchasing organizations.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and improved positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, R&D, and finance to ensure supply reliability, successful product launches, and seamless customer service. (This role liaises with operations but does not directly manage it.)
- Team Leadership: Recruit, motivate, and develop sales and marketing professionals to deliver sustained performance.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10+ years in orthopedic implants, with direct exposure to trauma product sales. Experience working with distributors and ASCs is a plus.
- Industry Background: Proven track record with leading implant companies.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and inspire commercial teams to exceed revenue targets.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capture growth opportunities.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. healthcare systems, hospital purchasing, and surgeon engagement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Relocation: Commitment to relocate to Reno, Nevada.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
