About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Construction to lead and oversee all construction operations within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and ensuring project delivery excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership to construction teams to achieve organizational goals.

Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of construction projects.

Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Build and maintain a high-performance team through recruitment, training, and development initiatives.

Report to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

10+ years of progressive experience in construction management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.

Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Strong financial acumen and contract management experience.
