The Role
eMagine Solutions has been retained by a leading regional logistics provider to identify an experienced General Manager to lead their Contract Logistics business across the UAE. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, driving growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction across multi-site warehousing and distribution operations. Key Responsibilities • Own and manage the Contract Logistics P&L for the UAE, delivering revenue growth, profitability and cost optimisation targets • Lead multi-site warehousing, distribution and value-added services operations (FMCG, retail, e-commerce, industrial, etc.) • Develop and execute the contract logistics strategy in alignment with group objectives • Drive continuous improvement, automation and best-in-class operational standards (KPIs, SLAs, safety, quality) • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and prospects • Lead large, diverse teams including operations, engineering, customer service and support functions • Oversee solution design, implementation and start-up of new contracts and facilities • Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory and quality standards across all sites • Partner with commercial teams on bids, pricing and solution proposals for strategic customers
Requirements
- 12–18+ years’ experience in logistics and supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in Contract Logistics • Proven track record managing multi-site warehousing and distribution operations in the GCC (UAE experience strongly preferred) • Strong P&L ownership, commercial acumen and experience in developing and executing growth strategies • Deep understanding of warehouse design, automation, WMS/TMS and operational excellence methodologies • Experience working with blue-chip customers in FMCG, retail, e-commerce or industrial sectors • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and change management skills • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage • Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
