Position Title: General Manager – Food & Beverage

Job Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the company’s Food & Beverage operations to ensure profitability, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. This includes managing multiple outlets, ensuring operational excellence, driving sales growth, implementing cost controls, and maintaining brand standards across the business. The GM will work closely with senior management to develop strategies, achieve business objectives, and ensure compliance with all policies, health, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals.
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, improving service standards, and enhancing customer experience.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure competitive positioning.
- Oversee daily operations across all outlets, central kitchen, and support departments.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, costs, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads, outlet managers, and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyze P&L statements and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and vendor relations to ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction across all outlets.
- Monitor feedback channels and implement corrective measures where necessary.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Ensure adherence to local laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in F&B operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple outlets.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record in driving sales growth, improving efficiency, and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office and F&B management software.
- Strong understanding of F&B industry trends, customer service excellence, and operational best practices.
