General Manager (GM) – Bakery Operations (Dubai)

About Us

We are a rapidly growing bakery brand in Dubai, known for our quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for an experienced General Manager (GM) to lead our overall operations, drive business growth, and manage multiple teams to ensure excellence in every area of the bakery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all bakery operations including production, quality, sales coordination, supply chain, and customer service.
• Develop long-term strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
• Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, Dubai Municipality requirements).
• Manage and mentor department heads: production manager, operations manager, procurement, sales team, and admin.
• Prepare operational budgets, cost controls, and performance reports.
• Oversee inventory, procurement, vendor relationships, and stock management.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and overall operational efficiency.
• Handle staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Lead expansion plans, new product launches, and business development initiatives.
• Manage customer relations, resolve issues, and support brand reputation.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, dispatch, logistics, and sales teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Hospitality, or Food Technology.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in bakery or food production operations.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and complex operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of bakery production processes, quality control, and supply chain.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple units.
