General Manager - Hospitality Background

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of hospitality management, and a proven track record of managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to all hospitality operations.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to achieve business targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance and business development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing complex hospitality operations and delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Solid financial management skills including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, health, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
