Overview Of The Role

As a senior HR leader, the General Manager - HR partners with executive leaders across multiple markets to shape and deliver the human capital agenda, drive business transformation, and support ambitious growth plans.

What You Will Do
  • Provide full HR business partnering services and advisory to automotive executive board members and managing directors who run passenger car businesses.
  • Manage the HRBP teams across passenger car businesses.
  • Work with the Automotive Talent Centre and Group HR centres of excellence to design and deliver effective HR initiatives and propositions to automotive businesses, including learning and development, leadership development, organisation design, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits and nationalisation.
  • Lead the HR work streams within business transformation projects across automotive businesses.
  • Design and deliver the necessary HR requirements for business expansions, go to market plans and new mobility ventures.
  • Contribute to and influence the design and delivery of the automotive HR strategy.
Required Skills To Be Successful
  • Degree level education preferred; professional HR accreditation an advantage.
  • Minimum ten years in HR, with at least five years in automotive HR roles.
  • Experience managing large employee populations and delivering business transformation.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate high performing HRBP teams.
About The Team

You'll be a key member of the automotive HR management team, working in a global, matrixed environment. The role leads a team of HRBPs (five direct reports; total team size 15) and leverages HR specialists to deliver value to the business. You will represent the automotive HR Director internally and externally as needed and role model Al Futtaim values and leadership competencies.
