General Manager - India

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Sales (APAC), the candidate is expected to manage from the Pune office.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage and mentor the sales, marketing, technical expertise and administrative teams
• Ensure continuous development and maintenance of team skills through training and coaching
• Evaluate the performance and productivity of the team, implementing improvement plans when necessary
• Manage daily business operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards
• Maintain and expand the current distribution network
• Research and identify opportunities to drive revenue growth
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve annual objectives and long-term goals
• Monitor progress and generate monthly performance reports for executive leadership
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating work environment aligned with the InnovMetric Group values

Qualifications

• Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role
• Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
• Demonstrate a strong leadership presence with emotional intelligence and collaborative mindset
• Demonstrate excellent management skills and knowledge of different business functions
• Have a proven track record in strategic planning, operations, and financial management
• Demonstrate great ability to mobilize your team members and mentor your managers
• Exhibit strong organizational skills, proactivity and results-driven approach, supported by strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
• Having a background in manufacturing or metrology is considered an asset
