NOW HIRING - GENERAL MANAGER - INTERIOR DESIGN


Our Client is an Interior design consultancy specialising in high-end residential projects, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


The Position:

Responsible for managing overall company operations while leading business development and client acquisition efforts, ensuring operational efficiency, financial control, and sustainable growth through market expansion and strategic partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across design, project management, procurement, and support teams to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead senior managers and foster collaboration, accountability, and a performance-driven culture.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Implement company policies, workflows, and quality standards aligned with international benchmarks.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the firm’s presence in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, clients, and partnership opportunities locally and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead proposals, presentations, and negotiations for high-profile projects and partnerships.
  • Strengthen the firm’s market presence through strategic marketing, PR, and participation in key industry events.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the firm’s design excellence and showcase its portfolio.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to adapt business strategies effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, labor laws, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Report company performance, opportunities, and challenges to executive leadership.
  • Mentor and develop senior staff, ensuring succession planning and talent retention.
  • Promote innovation, collaboration, and excellence across all departments.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 12+ years of leadership experience in interior design, architecture, construction, or luxury real estate.
  • Proven record in business growth, client acquisition, and operational management.
  • Strong financial management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Confident client-facing presence with experience working with VIP and international clients.
  • Proficiency in business planning, CRM systems, and project management tools.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
