Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Business Leadership:
- Formulate business strategies and market-competitive plans in alignment with company goals.
- Develop the Annual Business Plan and Budget for the Landscape & Swimming Pool Division.
- Drive the achievement of business targets and ensure sustained profitability and growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base within the GCC region.
Operations & Project Management:
- Oversee all project execution activities ensuring timely completion within contractual scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage and monitor post-contract project performance with Project Managers and site teams.
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications, and ensure competitive bid submissions.
- Prepare total cost summaries and present for review and approval of the Executive Director.
- Handle project variations efficiently and ensure smooth communication with clients and consultants.
Procurement & Commercial Management:
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants for finalization of contracts and agreements.
- Supervise procurement and trading of materials, including swimming pool equipment and related supplies.
- Ensure cost control and adherence to procurement policies and contractual terms.
People Management & Administration:
- Direct, control, and supervise all departmental operations under the division.
- Coordinate with Group Corporate functions to manage administrative and financial matters.
- Assess current and future staffing needs based on organizational objectives and budget realities.
- Lead the selection, development, appraisal, and reward of team members in line with merit principles.
- Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 20 years in the landscaping and water features industry, with at least 10–13 years in the GCC region handling techno-commercial aspects of large-scale Landscape and Swimming Pool projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or General Manager role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- GCC Driving License is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP systems will be an added advantage.
