Job Summary – General Manager (Manufacturer of specialized vehicles)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead operations at a specialized car manufacturing company focused on delivering high-performance, innovative, and custom-built vehicles. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including production, engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and financial performance.

This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the automotive industry, particularly in niche or high-value vehicle segments such as electric vehicles, performance cars, or luxury models. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all departments.
• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
• Ensure the timely and efficient production of high-quality vehicles that meet customer and regulatory standards.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of specialized vehicle production, supply chain management, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in a General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
