Role Summary

The General Manager – MRO Operational Excellence is responsible for driving operational efficiency, process optimization, and continuous improvement across shipyard MRO operations. The role acts as a key interface between MRO Production and MRO Projects , ensuring alignment, reduced turnaround times, and consistent delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence initiatives across MRO production and project execution
• Identify and close procedural and execution gaps impacting delivery and efficiency
• Lead process optimization, KPI development, and performance management
• Collaborate closely with Production, Projects, Procurement, Project Controls, QA/QC, and Business Development
• Support MRO budgeting, manpower planning, CAPEX initiatives, and procurement cycles
• Analyze production flows and implement efficiency improvements
• Provide operational input into client and vendor contracts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 18+ years shipyard experience , including 10+ years in shipbuilding/ship repair
• Strong background in MRO operations, process improvement, and change management
• Proven senior leadership and cross‑functional management experience
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
