General Manager – Multi-Branch Supermarket Operations

Job Summary

Aslam Super Market is hiring an experienced General Manager to oversee and manage operations across multiple branches. The role requires strong retail operational leadership, standardization of processes, supervision of branch managers, and ensuring consistent business performance and profitability across all locations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage operations of all supermarket branches
  • Lead and guide branch managers and department supervisors
  • Implement operational SOPs and ensure compliance across outlets
  • Monitor sales, margins, shrinkage, and wastage control
  • Oversee inventory planning, ordering, and stock availability
  • Ensure proper merchandising and display standards in all stores
  • Coordinate with purchasing and maintain vendor relationships
  • Maintain consistent customer service standards and resolve escalated complaints
  • Coordinate with HR regarding staffing, discipline, and performance management
  • Conduct branch visits, audits, and operational reviews
  • Prepare and analyze operational and financial performance reports
  • Develop strategies to improve revenue and profitability

Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s Degree (MBA/BBA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in supermarket/hypermarket retail
  • Proven experience managing multiple store locations is required
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and retail KPIs
  • Experience managing large teams

Compensation
