About PVARA:
Pakistan's Virtual Assets Act, 2025 introduces the country's first comprehensive legal framework for overseeing virtual assets and the businesses that operate in this space. PVARA is the dedicated authority responsible for licensing, supervising, and regulating Virtual Assets (VAs) and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) operating in the country.
Requirements:

At least
8–10
years of progressive experience in financial/capital markets in domain of regulatory policy, financial-sector strategy, legislative drafting, economic research, or senior advisory roles in government, private or international organizations.

Proven track record of developing and implementing regulatory frameworks or policy reforms.

Experience in AML/CFT/CPF, financial regulation, securities markets, central banking, or digital-asset regulation.

Familiarity with international regulatory standards and experience engaging with standard-setting bodies.

Strong analytical and research capabilities with ability to translate complex issues into actionable policy.

Experience managing multidisciplinary policy teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Public Policy, International Relations, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.

Relevant professional certifications in public policy, policy analysis, strategic management, project management, public-sector governance, financial regulation, or any other relevant discipline shall be considered an added advantage.
