Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a strong team committed to excellence.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient cash handling and reporting.
- Develop and manage budgets while monitoring financial performance to achieve business goals.
- Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality service delivery.
- Lead shift management activities, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or related roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and inventory management practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff through training & development initiatives.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Experience in supervising teams within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
