Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards in food safety and customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly while meeting the expectations of our guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, develop, and manage staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food preparation standards.
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and reporting.
- Implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed in accordance with food safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with quick service & fast food restaurant operations as well as casual dining experiences.
- Experience with fine dining establishments is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, leadership, and team management.
- Background in budgeting, inventory control, and cash handling is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
