Position Summary

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, leading and developing team members, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, and driving sales and profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, customer service, and team culture.

Essential Responsibilities

As a Restaurant General Manager, you will:

  • Demonstrate a passion for the business and managing overall restaurant operations
  • Recruit, train, develop, coach, and recognize top-performing employees
  • Lead daily operations to ensure guests receive excellent customer service
  • Maintain strong awareness and commitment to food quality and food safety standards
  • Manage labor, inventory, scheduling, and profitability goals
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating work environment
  • Handle multiple demands and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Build and maintain a strong team culture focused on accountability and growth

Qualifications

We ask you to:

  • Have 3+ years of experience managing a service concept with full profit and loss responsibility
  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 10–65 lbs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
