Role overview
Our client is an American technology company specializing in digital workplace solutions, seeking a commercially driven General Manager to establish and scale its Saudi business. You will build the local presence, drive revenue growth across government and enterprise segments, and develop a high-performing team. The role spans market entry, sales leadership, partner ecosystem development, and alignment with regional and global leadership to position Saudi Arabia as a central hub for the Middle East.
Key responsibilities
Revenue growth and customer success

Lead and grow direct and indirect sales channels to achieve strong growth targets.

Retain and renew existing clients; expand within current accounts and acquire new government and enterprise customers.

Build trusted, executive-level relationships with customers and partners to accelerate pipeline and close rates.
Build and lead the team

Hire, develop, and retain top local talent across sales, technical, and support functions; the sales organization reports directly to the GM.

Foster a performance culture with clear targets, coaching, and accountability; collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the region and headquarters.
Government and enterprise engagement

Build relationships with key government entities, strategic enterprises, and regulatory bodies; ensure participation in priority tenders.
Partner ecosystem

Develop and manage relationships with system integrators, distributors, and technology partners to extend market reach and solution delivery.
Alignment with regional and global leadership

Align Saudi operations with regional and global strategy through transparent communication, timely execution, and effective stakeholder management.
Qualifications

Proven track record leading growth for enterprise technology or platform businesses in Saudi Arabia, covering public sector and strategic enterprise accounts.

Strong commercial leadership with success scaling direct and indirect channels, driving renewals, expansions, and acquiring new accounts.

Experience setting up and operating a local entity, with working knowledge of KSA regulations and compliance.

Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing sales and go-to-market teams.

Credibility engaging senior government and enterprise stakeholders; skilled in navigating tenders and regulatory environments.

Effective cross-functional collaborator with the ability to align local execution to global strategy.
