Human Capital HR Solutions (HC) is hiring on behalf of its client, a leading organization in the logistics sector, for the position of General Manager – Sea Freight.

This role is ideal for a strategic and commercially strong professional with expertise in business development, sea freight operations, and strategic partnerships who can drive revenue growth and operational excellence.

Qualification

• Master’s degree / MBA or relevant qualification

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sea freight business strategy
• Drive new business acquisition and manage key client relationships
• Manage pricing, contracts, and global shipping partnerships
• Oversee end-to-end import/export operations
• Monitor P&L, budgets, and operational KPIs
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and SOPs
• Lead and develop a high-performing team

Ideal Profile

• 10–15 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong commercial and business development background
• Established industry relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and agents
• Expertise in import/export operations and trade regulations
• Proven leadership and negotiation skills
