Founded in 1994, Silent-Aire is a technology-driven company that designs, engineers, and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Regional General Manager to oversee a team of mission critical data center technicians across multiple sites within the region.
What will you do:
The Regional General Manager at Silent-Aire/Johnson Controls is responsible for consistent execution of commissioning, operations, service, warranty, and aftermarket activities while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The General Regional Manager will serve as a key liaison between field teams, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
How you will do it:
Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of mission critical data center technicians
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Ensure proper workforce resource planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across projects
Manage region in alignment with company standards
Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, UKG timesheets and idle time, compliance with safety, quality, and documentation protocols.
Ensure escalation processes are followed, and issues are resolved promptly.
Act as the primary point of contact for projects managers, internal leadership, and clients regarding regional field activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and communication flow
Drive standardization and best practices across sites to optimize efficiency and reduce work
Support training programs and technical upskills for field staff
Identify and implement process improvements in safety, quality, and productivity and share with other regional general managers
What we look for:
5+ years of experience in data center, mission critical, or related technical services
3+ years of leadership or managerial experience overseeing regional or multi-site technical teams with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Strong knowledge of mission critical infrastructure (AHU, power, cooling, controls, etc.)
Proven ability to manage field resources in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal collaboration and external client engagement with a customer-centric approach
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and manage competing priorities
Proven track record of improving operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with service management software is a plus
Travel regionally as required (up to 70%)
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical management, or related field
Experience with commissioning, IST, service, warranty, aftermarket support for mission critical
Project management certification (PMP) or similar credential or experience is a plus
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $86,000-115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and
