Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)

About Snow Bowl Steamboat
Snow Bowl Steamboat is one of Steamboat Springs’ most dynamic and beloved hospitality venues—featuring bowling, a full-service restaurant and bar, and a popular outdoor music and event space.
We’re looking for an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations, elevate guest experiences, and help guide Snow Bowl’s next chapter of growth within a thriving local community.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance.
- Foster a hospitality-first culture, emphasizing guest experience, service excellence, and community connection.
- Manage bar operations and collaborate with culinary leadership on menu development, ingredient sourcing, and food & beverage costing.
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management for all departments to ensure cost control and consistency.
- Create and manage staff schedules to balance labor efficiency and guest service.
- Review and approve timesheets and payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handle daily financial procedures, including counting drawers, reconciling POS data, reviewing sales reports, and preparing bank deposits.
- Maintain effective cost management and operational systems across all departments.
- Hire, train, and mentor team members, ensuring accountability and professional growth.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute promotions, events, and community initiatives.
- Build a positive, energetic, and professional workplace culture that supports both guest satisfaction and staff retention.
- Proactively resolve guest feedback and operational challenges with professionalism and creativity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience, overseeing both FOH and BOH operations.
- Strong bar knowledge and familiarity with kitchen operations.
- Proven experience with menu and ingredient costing for both food and beverage.
- Experience with TOAST POS system required.
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on guest experience, staff development, and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of inventory, labor scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
