General Manager Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Strategy

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
• Optimize end-to-end supply chain processes for efficiency and cost reduction
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives

2. Demand & Supply Planning

• Oversee demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure product availability
• Align production, procurement, and distribution plans
• Minimize stock-outs and overstock situations

3. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Lead sourcing and procurement strategies for raw materials and finished goods
• Develop and manage vendor relationships and contracts
• Ensure cost optimization and quality compliance

4. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Optimize inventory levels and improve inventory turnover
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage, and dispatch processes
• Implement inventory control systems and audits

5. Logistics & Distribution

• Manage transportation, distribution networks, and last-mile delivery
• Ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery
• Optimize freight and logistics costs

6. Cost Control & Efficiency

• Monitor supply chain costs and identify savings opportunities
• Improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
• Track KPIs (OTIF, fill rate, inventory turnover, etc.)

7. Technology & Systems

• Implement and manage ERP / supply chain systems
• Utilize data analytics for forecasting and decision-making
• Drive digital transformation in supply chain processes

8. Team Leadership

• Lead and develop supply chain teams (planning, procurement, warehouse, logistics)
• Build a high-performance culture and ensure accountability
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment with sales, finance, and production

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
• 10–15+ years of experience in supply chain management
• Strong experience in FMCG / Manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Pay: Rs700,000.00 - Rs900,000.00 per month
