General Practitioner / GP Doctor - Home Healthcare

Job Description

Call My Doctor Healthcare is looking for a qualified and compassionate General Practitioner / GP Doctor to join our home healthcare team in Dubai.

The doctor will be responsible for providing professional medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and patient care at the comfort of patients’ homes, hotels, and residences across Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient communication skills, and experience in handling general medical cases with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical consultations and general health assessments for patients at home.
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses, infections, fever, flu, body pain, stomach issues, minor injuries, and general health concerns.
• Prescribe medicines, lab tests, and further investigations when required.
• Assess patient condition and advise appropriate treatment plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and medical history before treatment.
• Identify emergency or high-risk cases and refer patients to hospitals or specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and consultation notes.
• Follow DHA guidelines, medical protocols, and company standards.
• Coordinate with nurses, lab teams, and operations staff for smooth patient care.
• Provide professional, respectful, and patient-friendly service during home visits.

Requirements

• MBBS / Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as General Practitioner.
• Minimum 3* years of clinical experience* preferred.
• Experience in home healthcare, clinic, hospital, or urgent care is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of general medicine and primary care.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle patients professionally and calmly.
• Must be available for home visits across Dubai.
• UAE experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in doctor-on-call or home healthcare services.
• Ability to manage adult and pediatric general cases.
• Basic emergency response knowledge.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Good bedside manner and patient-handling skills.
• Ability to work with flexible shifts.
